Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's historical drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). The role she played in the series received her critical acclaim as well as six Emmy nominations for the category for the most outstanding supporting actress. From her career to now with over twenty years, she's also earned her fame for her performance in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama show Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her appearances are featured in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. She has also recorded her voice on animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Prior to that, she started her career as a model and continued in the field for a lengthy time, before she finally made an acting debut in television on the anthology show Undressed which premiered in the year 1999. The actress had her first big character in the comedy-drama show Beggars and Choosers. After the show, she was recognized for the part she played in Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her the title of one of the sexiest women on earth and the Best-Looking American Woman of 2010.
