Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress best known as Joan Holloway. She played her role for seven seasons of the period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in the series earned her critical acclaim and six Emmy nominations for the category for best supporting actress. In her career till now, which has spanned over two decades she has also earned her fame for her performance on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama the series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. In movies, she is praised for her role as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. In addition, she has lent her voice to animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Earlier she began her career as a model, and carried on in the field for a lengthy period of time until she made her acting debut on TV with the series anthology Undressed in 1999. Her first significant role was on the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her performance in the well-known show Firefly.
