Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress best known as Joan Holloway. She played the character for seven seasons of AMC's classic period show Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in the series won her critical appreciation and six Emmy award nominations in the best supporting actress category. Her career, which spanned over 20 years, has been characterized by her appearance in the comedy crime show Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. She is known for her appearances in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey at Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Also, she's recorded her voice on animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! It began her career as a model, and went on to be a model for several years prior to making her television debut in the 1999 collection Undressed. Her first major part in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers. After this, she was given a kudos by the character she played in Firefly. Esquire magazine chose her to be one of the sexiest women on earth and as the best-looking American woman of the year 2010.
