Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Meloni discovered his passion for acting from his days in school and then pursued acting studies in The University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active on both television and films however it is his roles on the small screen that gave him popularity and much fan following. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law has captured the attention of the public. He played the serial killer role in his first television project and later played the role as an NYPD detective. He was repeatedly nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. One of his most striking facial features is believed to be his distinctive blue eyes, which are considered to be a trademark and help in portraying tough characters that have charisma. People's magazine's 2006 list for Sexiest Men Alive included him.
